The IUDC International Competition is held annually to provide a platform for young Korean dancers to enhance their skills and enter the international stage. Through partnerships with renowned art universities such as the Amsterdam National University, Prague National University, and NDT Dance Company's Royal Conservatory, the competition facilitates the graduation of Korean students from foreign universities and promotes student exchange and scholarships between Korean and overseas universities.  Through the IUDC International Competition, we aim to showcase the level of Korean dance in the global dance community and provide participants with opportunities for international experiences and exchanges to foster their growth. We will continue to strengthen collaborations with the world's top art universities, striving to create shining opportunities for young Korean dancers on the international stage.

The Daegu International Improvisation Dance Festival promotes diversity in art and fosters creativity. It brings together artists, dancers, and audiences in a new space, facilitating spontaneous relationships. Dancers from Daegu and other countries like China and Mexico participate, promoting cultural exchange. It's a platform for professionals and individuals with manifold sensibilities to freely express themselves.
Art enriches lives, contributes to the cultural industry, and benefits the local community. G. Palucca emphasized the purity of improvisational dance, where there's no right or wrong. Rather than focusing on perfection, I hope creators can enjoy the moment and the present experience. May this festival nurture the long-term development of dance and creative expression in Daegu.
